Hi! I’ll be vacationing with my daughter for a short trip coming up in May, so exciting! We have park hopper tickets, and the first day I’m planning on Animal Kingdom followed by Epcot. I haven’t decided yet whether to do a park hopper genie+ or genie+ just for Epcot. Remy is a must do ride with either Genie+ option, my question is how early can a LL be modified once selected? Ie: If Remy is chosen as our first LL selection at 7am, and I’m given a return time of 9am but need an afternoon time, how early can I try to modify that return time? I may be in the minority where an early LL for Remy wouldn’t work, as we have plans to hop to Epcot in the afternoon!
Thanks in advance and keep up the great work with the videos! :)
Appreciate everyone’s feedback, thank you so much!
Hi Ariana! As others have shared here, it is quite easy to modify a LL to be later in the day as long as you do it early. As Craig mentioned, you won't see the times until you tap in for that first 15 minutes, but you can still modify during that period and a ride like Remy will show later afternoon return times VERY quickly. Possibly within less than a minute. 😂 Good luck!
Just my thoughts and not a direct answer to your question - Look into Standby Skipper to add along with your Genie Plus. Do not hesitate to ask staff for help if a problem arises, they have the Blue Umbrellas and they are so helpful.
Hi Ariana! You should be able to modify immediately. It’s now 9:16 a.m. and you can still get a Remy LL for 8:15 p.m. so you shouldn’t have a problem modifying to a later time. I always like to check out the app days or even weeks before the trip to see how quickly LLs go in the morning. May is usually a slower month depending on when you go, so I think you shouldn’t have any problems with this plan. As Rob explains in their latest video, at 7:00 a.m., Genie+ doesn’t show return times for about 15 minutes so don’t let that throw you. Hope this helps!
The answer to your question is escaping me in this moment, but Rob just posted an updated video all about Genie+ (I believe he discusses this as well) on the YouTube channel.
