Lightning Lane purchase process when family members want different rides

My first time buying Lighting Lane passes will be Monday at 7 am. Rob's videos have been great, but I'm confused about one thing. All 4 family members are in my account, but everybody wants to ride different rides (there is some overlap but as many differences... and the wife won't even be in the park the first two days of four). Do I buy the same multipass for all family members and then modify? Or can and should I buy them separately? And on Day 1, only my oldest daughter wants the Single Pass. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This might or might not help - but I did two transactions my girls and then my mom and I and set our three based on us differently. Eventually we all ended up together on rides but to get them single pass and space mountain - that we didn’t want to ride it helped

Overall during the day you will be able to make it work :)

I think upon consideration, I have answered my own question. lol. If there is any overlap, you should buy them all together to make sure you get the same time slots on rides that you want to do together. If you have totally separate itineraries, I assume you could buy them individually

I would go ahead and grab what you want for each day so you have them. Remember you can’t do a lot of modifying until midnight the night before because it won’t let you overlap.

Everything worked out well. We're booking 7 days in advance so more options. I was also able to modify to the extent that my kids wanted some different rides. Only able to get Tiana and Seven Dwarves in the evening next Monday, but I will try to modify night before. Evening if we have to do evening, not a big concern. Thanks for the assistance
