Background context, I’ll be going for the runDIsney Spring time surprise 10mile run, so I know crowds will be elevated, my plan is to arrive Wednesday to the resort (Swan and Dolphin), then have Thurs-Sat to visit the parks, run Sunday morning, have a chill park day, before I leave Monday, here's my plan,
So here’s my itinerary:
Thursday- split day Epcot/Animal Kingdom - No Genie
Rope drop Epcot through the Int gateway by boat and do Ratatouille and Frozen during early entry, do virtual queue for Guardians, enjoy smaller rides (Nemo, Pixar short, figment, etc) and work our way towards front of the park. Take the bus to Animal Kingdom, do Safari and Shows, finish night at pandora. Longest day of the trip probably.
Friday - sleep in, resort pool, Genie plus and stack rides for Hollywood studios taking the skyliner if available. Maybe buy ILL for RotR? Will play by ear.
Saturday - Magic Kingdom - No Genie
Most things I want to do at MK doesn’t really need genie+ like Tom Sayer Island, Carousal, Philharmonic etc. Except for Tron and maybe 7dwarfs since I haven’t been for so long. I'm hoping lines are bearable and would no more than an hour each.
Sunday - race ends in Hollywoods Studios at around 8ish am, probably stay on the park and do a chill day, do some of the shows, meet some characters, maybe some lighter rides (muppets, star tours), if ROTR is looking reliable maybe get an ILL? eat at the derby (never been!) and probably be in bed exhausted by 6pm LOL
Does this plan seem sensible, it'll just be me and bf, we might have another couple join for the weekend but the plan shouldnt change too much
You did not mention if you were rope dropping Magic Kingdom. Obviously, if you are, you could hit Seven Dwarfs on the rope drop and knock that off right away. We are usually ride obsessed to lean in on Genie Plus a lot. Your wish list at each park is perfect for not using Genie plus. Love the idea of sleeping in and stacking for HS. One suggestion (Rob would know WAY better than I would). be thoughtful of the order that you stack. One time at HS we left Tower of Terror too late in the day to book Genie + and got shut out on that visit. I would think ILL for ROR, then Slinky first, Tower of Terror second, Rockin Roller Coaster. Again, I am coming at it from our family's priorities. I assume by that time you are in the park and can adjust and adapt to what is happening that day
