From what I’ve read, it seems Christmas week is the worst time in terms of crowds but it’s the only time when hubby, children and I all have break. We are a family of 5 and visited Thanksgiving week 2022. Thanksgiving week is also often listed right behind Christmas week as the worst however we had a blast and didn’t think it seemed crowded at all. I am fairly knowledgeable on how to’s for Disney and we had a plan, played the genie slots etc…We are looking at 12/21-12/28 staying at a monorail resort. Will it be complete mayhem? I’ve seen so many “never again” posts about Christmas but then a few that say it was magical…..not sure if the “never again” crew usually go when it’s very very light crowds and were just in shock or just didn’t have a plan or genie plus…thank you for any perspective on this…. Anxious to spend so much and have it be a nightmare.

Heigh-ho Amul! While I’ve never been there Christmas week, I have several friends who go almost exclusively at that time of year. If you had a great time at Thanksgiving, I think you will also have a great time at Christmas. I checked some crowd calendars and the levels generally go from a 7 to an 8 comparatively. There’s so much more to do at Christmas too! Hopefully a Scout with more first hand experience will chime in, but keep that anxiety in a comfy chair with some snacks while you have a great vacation during the most Magical time of the year!
