My family has been planning a trip to Disney for over a year. We will be there the second week of August. We had been expecting that the Epcot Food and Wine festival would be happening while we’re there, but were sad to learn this is not the case!
We had built our plans around having an adults-only night at Epcot. We even have childcare booked for that night! Now that the festival is not happening, I’d love some suggestions on how to best enjoy the non-festival food options at Epcot. We’d ideally still like to hop around World Showcase. Will there still be food stands?
I second Craig's vote for Morocco - Spice Road Table is one of the hidden gems at Epcot and the little bakery there is delightful, as well. My pick for best adult thing to do on an Epcot day is to head back to Boardwalk after the fireworks and visit JellyRolls. It is a dueling piano bar and it is one of my favorite things to do in all of WDW.
I’m not sure if they will have some year-round kiosks open, but Epcot has SO many great restaurants! Personally I’m a huge fan of anything in Japan or Morocco! Of course I’m sure all of the counter service places will be open if you don’t want to spend time at a sit down restaurant. I’m bummed you’re going to miss F&W, but I’m hoping they will do some special things this summer regardless!
