Most memorable was being selected to be the Grand Marshall Family for the 3:00 pm parade at Magic Kingdom. It was like winning the lottery. They assign a photographer to you for the entire event and send all the photos to memory maker. It was without question a Mountain Top Day for us.
My goodness. So many special memories, but this one stands out. In 2005 I was able to take my parents on a Disney vacation. We only went as a family once in 1979 and since I was a teenager, I spent the day with other kids my age and not my “uncool” parents 😆. Although I would have liked to have ridden Dumbo with them, it was down for refurb. This photo opportunity was even better since all three of us are in one shot. Thanks for asking this question!
I’m hoping for some ideas too. My thoughts so far are a dining reservation at California Grill during the fireworks, and a Keys to the Kingdom tour for my visit in May!
I'm not sure mine counts since I live here and so it's not really a vacation, but going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is always special and memorable. We've done it three times now and on two of those occasions, Erick got pulled up to the stage to be part of the show. 😂 You can see some of the holiday version of the show in our recent top resorts for the holidays video and there's also a short we did when it came back after the pandemic.
