I'm thinking about changing our travel dates, but would love some input from others! Right now I have a trip planned from Feb 25th to March 2 for my husband and I. I sort of booked it on a whim when some resort discounts dropped. We were originally planning on going in the fall of 2024 for our anniversary, but didn't want to wait that long lol! One of my husband's favorite parts of Disney are the Epcot festivals and assuming that Flower & Garden starts on March 1st like last year, we're going to miss out. Yes, technically we could go on March 1st, but I know opening day of a festival can be a mad house! I don't really want to move our trip to an earlier date because I feel like that would put a strain on our budget and I don't want to push it further into March because of spring break crowds and warmer weather (I'm not a fan of the heat lol! We went last Feb and 3 days it got up to the 90s!). But I can't stop thinking about missing out on festival time! But on the other hand, we would be able to enjoy some other dining spots at Epcot that we normally skip out on because we normally only eat at festival booths. What would you all do?? PS - If you read this whole thing, thank you! I know I can be long winded 🤣

Hi Beth! I would always pick late February over fall, even if it means missing out on a festival. The weather is better and the crowds are lower. As for the festival, you'll still be able to see the topiaries (those go up starting around a week or so early) and if you REALLY want to try some festival treats, just plan to pop into Epcot for a bit on opening day. We might even see you there because all of us Disney nerds will be out in full force that day. 😂
I think the festivals are great but can understand why with the heat you want to go earlier. I would watch out for ane marathon dates too. I think I would go for a festival date.
