Hi - We went to Disney recently and stayed at All Star Movies. Usually I stay at Pop and asked the CM about being able to Uber to Pop and use the Skyliner.
She said I could not get into Pop because that wasn't my resort.
I thought we were allowed to visit resorts on property.
Can someone tell me if this information is correct?
Thanks.
Hi Mary! It has always been my experience that I have been able to take a Lyft to resorts without issue. As a rule, the Lyft driver just says they are dropping me off and it has never been an issue. If you were to want to park there, you would need a dining reservation (mobile order for quick service typically doesn't work for this - it has to be table service dining, which Pop does not have). I have never tried to take a Lyft to Pop specifically, but I have done Boardwalk and Polynesian and I was never questioned about why I was getting dropped off there.
You are allowed to visit other resorts, but the CM meant that you won't be able to get in through the Parking Lot gate unless you have a booked room or a dining reservation there. Instead, you can go to Pop from any park/Disney Springs or take the Skyliner there from elsewhere. Another alternative is putting in a Mobile Order at Pop Dining, which will allow you through the gate.
