Hello,
We'll be travelling from the UK next year and I wanted to ask what ID you need to get into the Parks?
I've read you need your passport, but is that only on your very first entry? We'd rather not be carrying out passports around with us every day. Last time we came was 2012!
Awesome, thanks guys.
With regards to Magic Bands, how often do you have to charge them?
Hi Jonny! If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you will likely need a passport to check in and then you would get your "Key to the World" card (or activate your MagicBand or Magic Mobile) and then you are all set to enter the parks. As Nick said, I don't think you typically need an ID to use your park tickets unless you purchased them online and they are not correctly linked to your account, but you can square all that away at your hotel when you check in or you could visit Guest Relations in Disney Springs if you are worried about having everything linked up corrcetly and don't want to bring ID's to the park.
Unless something has changed, you do not need ID to enter the parks. Since your tickets are not tied to the person but rather to whichever Disney profile on the app has loaded them, you really shouldn't need anything. As for getting into the resort...well that's another thing. They'll want to be certain that the individual trying to access the resort is the person with the reservation. Hope this helps!
